She has been married to her husband for over ten years, and together they have three beautiful children. In her spare time, Kelli enjoys spending time with her family, camping, practicing hot yoga, playing sand volleyball, and, of course, she has a passion for weddings. She adores every aspect of weddings—the process, the love between the couple, the design, and the excitement of planning the perfect day. After nearly a decade of fervently planning events, Kelli decided to transform what was once a side hustle into a full-fledged business.
Her personal aesthetic preferences evolve, but she consistently gravitates toward the warmth of white oak, letterpress textures, linens, and has a particular fondness for floral elements. As a versatile wedding planner, Kelli specializes in designing weddings that embody a wide range of styles, from classic elegance to modern chic and everything in between. She also enjoys building connections with people, so even if she doesn’t plan an event for you, she’d love to connect!

Bobby is the rock-solid backbone of Simply Detailed. With a knack for logistics and keen eye for detail, Bobby plays a crucial role in the seamless execution of Kelli's wedding designs. His practical skills and hands-on approach ensure that everything runs smoothly, from setup to the final send-off. Outside of the wedding world, Bobby is a dedicated family man who cherishes time spent with Kelli and their three kids. He’s an avid camper who enjoys setting up cozy campsites, sharing stories around the campfire, and embracing the great outdoors with his family. His strong work ethic, combined with his commitment to both his family and Kelli’s business, makes him an invaluable asset and a respected figure among their clients and colleagues.

When I got married in 1981, two very large families were combined. We had six children of our own, and there are now over 100 cousins on just one side! That being said, I am no stranger to coordinating — I have planned dozens of parties for birthdays, graduations, weddings, babies, and holidays over the years. Since 2006, Kelli has taken over these family parties with her creative direction and fresh ideas. I have enjoyed working more in the background, smoothing out any last minute details and making sure all events run as planned. I'm confident in her talents and abilities, and excited to offer those same services to our Simply Detailed clients!
